y observar rostro tan bello,  /  and observe such a beautiful complexion,
más que asombrar, me enajena.  /  more than astonishing, it alienates me.
Cuando en mi oído resuena  /  When in my ear resonates
tu cálida voz, espero  /  your warm voice, I hope
girarme y verte, pues quiero  /  to turn around and see you, because I want

Moon Base

A few weeks ago I first heard https://soundcloud.com/user-369089703/stay-original and could already feel the words filling my head before it had finished playing. The song reminded me of a favourite band of mine, Procol Harum because of the piano/organ arrangement. I asked if I could try to make a collaboration out of this wonderful melody and Pascal kindly agreed. Thank you so much for the opportunity Pascal and thank you for listening.

I had this tune in my head for quite a while, and now I finally recorded it. It's always fun to take new approaches to the recording process. It's certainly not as clean and polished as it could be, but there is another version in the works with the Laybow-legacy studio project.

"I like this song." Even though I heard in the comments that the "phase" was happening, I didn't think it was a bad sound during the creation. I like the "phase shift" in Mr. Superstein's comment.
The song was inspired by a photograph of a man sleeping in the crowd in front of the station and his companion's dog. The melody of the trumpet is the slumber of two people. The surrounding miscellaneous sounds express the hustle and bustle of the city.
"What a fun composition experience." I was able to experience the fun of "Phase Shift" even though I had never heard a single piece about Reich. I couldn't be happier.

Subsurface Ocean is part of Child of Jupiter - a serene ambient album that captures the essence of a journey to Jupiter and Europa. a purring cat is lying next to a dying bird

the story of the envellop 
was so much bigger than the letter 
my body is a temple of which the roof collapsed

it is a butterfly's achievement 
to blindly follow rules 
etched deeply in its intestines 
with the tiniest of needles 
and it doesn't dream no more 

the deed was done 
the story written 
had a lot to be thankfull for 
but noone to thank
dreams don't dream themselves no more 

each one tries to fit in the previouses footprints 
tries to repeat what doesn't repeat 
footprints are too tight or just a bit too wide 
i guess we'll have to dream some more 

all of us have a past, we can only dream a future 
i have seven dreams a minute 
and they all split up in two, or three, or four, or more 
i grasp to keep them with me 
to read before dispose 
i just don't have the eyes for it 
its a freakin' overdose
