expectations, like haunting dreams.

Short Interlude for orchestra (2024), element of the lyric opera "The Rover" to the libretto on Joseph Conrad (under construction).

Opening scene:
1) Peyrol leaves his ship in Toulon harbour after dekades of his absence in his homeland.
2) Peyrol is walking through the harbour towards offices' building.
3) Peyrol's "Leitmotif" (introduced in Ouverture).
4) Peyrol's recitativo accompagnato with sigh motives (exposed in Ouverture).
5) Peyrol sings: "I left ship in Toulon, in my homeland, in my homeland".
6) The lights on the water's surface. Peyrol entered Harbour offices' building (orchestral "comment").
7) The near church bell tolls introducing next "number".

different voices...different languages...and it fits together so wonderfully.
It's not surprising...we all have the same origins...and are so similar...no matter where we live or what we look...the same in soul...you just have to recognize it.. .basically we could get along without any problems...but unfortunately some people haven't realized that yet...that's why I'm trying to improve this.
We should live with each other... and not against each other... I think that's the better way.
