In 2020 Argentinian artist San Ignacio released his second full-length album called 'La Identidad es una Trampa' which explored the connections between South American rhythms and captivating electronic textures. Now those last year's tracks come back redefined by some of the finest producers from all over Latin America - including Ecuador's Quixosis and Joaquín Cornejo, Costa Rica's Nillo, Peru's Tribilin Sound and more. Among them is Brazilian Cigarra who skilfully reworked 'Déjenme Gozar', a song that is an interpretation of traditional Argentinian chant and features a wonderful voice of Lola Bhajan.

Having grown up with folk musics from around the world, Cain is one artist who might be hard to pigeon-hole into anyone one particular background… The Scottish man has a flair for all things off-the beaten track and down the pentatonic scale-trail.

This mix is a collection of Pakistani and Indian music that has shaped some of his musical upbringings. From Nusrat's rousing Qawwali to soothing Ragas, Celtic-sounding Rajasthani Dhoad gypsy songs to ancient Dhrupads, there is a wide range of musical heads to bobble around with. 

The predominately traditional mix - being folk, Qawwali, Karnatic and classical music paints a journey travelling from Pakistan, through the lands of Rajasthan which are inhabited by beautiful cobras, through to Southern India.

Analog Dolfins - O Meh

Get your tissues out. This is the final Global Tribe Episode. There were discussions somewhere else around the word 'Tribe' and it seemed like the word is associated to some negative connotations, so best to separate myself from it. I took this opportunity to have some self-reflection. So a new show might be on the horizon, maybe with a slightly different format. Or not.... let's see.

Boss of the event management company and label: Movimientos, and an amazing DJ and curator himself... We get some interesting chats about the Global scene in London and more about his journey.
