This is our first public release as 'Pawns of Sound'. Independently we represent '@soundfauna' and '@donsean1' on our own SoundCloud profiles, but with our early collaborative efforts we realize we have found a bond of unique sound. While paying homage to Traditional RnB, we've given it an updated touch combined and transformed thru electronica, hard hitting hip-hop beats & live electric guitar (sometimes mashed up) given us a distinctive quality in Alternative RnB. Some might call it 'Grown Folk' music, and we dig that. But let's add one more thing to that to keep it open to a diverse audience, as this is also "Feel Good Love Music' that can be appreciated by anyone. The lyrics were written by 'DonSean1' and all vocals were sung and recorded by 'DonSean1' with a Blue Snowball USB mic,  while various recording software apps and electric guitar for the music were administered by the talented 'SoundFauna'. As we have yet to get into a high-end studio to do further damage, imagine for a moment where this is heading... This year we will be releasing a 5 or 6 song EP that will be available for FREE download (so be on the lookout!).  Until then, 'Pawns of Sound' invites you to listen, enjoy and comment on this journey we've just begun...  Blessings to All, as we are true fans of music.

Collectively we are "Pawns of Sound' delivering our own unique brand of Alternative RnB or whateva u want to call it! Higher In Ur Sky

We are a duo/group, dedicated to a union categorized as Alternative RnB.  This category alone does not represent all that we are as musicians/vocalists, but for this duo union it is our focal point.  Aside from our collaboration, we both have our own unique tastes independently that crosses multiple genres of music as we create according to our inspiration (not according to the limitations of one specific genre).  As we are here to share our original music while being fans of others on SoundCloud and abroad, we hope that our music will inspire, move and drive others to continue doing their own creative works of originality.  If it is meant for our music to grow and expand amongst a vast audience, we're down!  But make no mistake, the union that brought us together is our love for music and putting that first!
