The song is about a certain Zimbabwean  teacher who was liked by the community. When he got fade up with the colonial system he encouraged others to join the liberation war with a base in Mozambique. 

The teacher became a warrior and led the nation to win the war. The song questions what has  become of the FREEDOM we secured!

Memories of Ireland and its similarities to my country's political struggle inspired me to write this track.  One more session vocals, brass, guitars, percussion and we are ready for some heavy dubbing - cant wait!

Eastbound is the only major carnival project for the Eastern Region in England which involves 5 towns (Ipswich, Cambridge, Norwich, Southend and Luton) culminating in a procession on the 8th of July 2012 at the Love Luton Festival where the torch relay will be happening.
