Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

It stared at him with big eyes. “I’m not sure,” Ba said. The tree branches bent in the wind violently, as if being shaken by the sky. The wind shrieked again, and the cold air gusted into the house. The water in the fishbowl rippled and the fish swayed in the bowl. Both Ma and Ba shivered. Opera Kalma is bringing the Moonlight into the light! This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can saw you the darkness into the light. Firewrks and Max Seeger are black and white.

As we kept going on our path, we stumbled across our 14th EP all the way from Berlin by DJ Fehlt. This EP was meant to be a single; “Gravity” when DJ Fehlt asked for a little bit of more time to add 2 more tracks.

In the meantime some of the remixers curiously also asked for more time since they wanted to remake their remix. This led to some months of waiting but finally the EP is here with 3 deep and slow original tracks joined by 4 great remixes by LVND, Sydney Seymour, Tlazohtla and Langüe all giving a more clubby and dancy version of the tracks.

Get some gravity in your lungs and fly away…
