Se Mo Pe Saamayo is an orignal composition of P.C.Shivan. The track celebrates the value of life, and qualities such as affection, kindness, love and sympathy. It was composed as a Title Score for one of PC's tamil films. The uniqueness of this track is that those words that PC sings have no real meaning when seen in the light of the language forms in existence today. However, in the sense of unique human self-expression, these meaningless words make all the difference.

Seventh Sense

P.C.Shivan is an acclaimed film composer. At the age of 4, Shivan showed early signs of his musical genius, when he began discovering the notations to some of maestro Ilayaraja's toughest of compositions. His rare ability at such a young age, surprised not just his parents but accomplished musicians as well. With classical vocals, violin and self-taught keyboard, began his love for music.

He completed his undergraduation in Aerospace Engineering from IITMadras. As he was determined to pursue music as a career, he turned down several admission offers from some of the world’s best grad schools. Apart from music theory, he also has an extensive knowledge in sound mixing & architectural acoustics. He in-fact designed his own professional recording studio during his college days, and has been producing private albums ever since. Besides, he has composed music for several ad jingles, short films, trailers, corporate themes and anthems for various social causes. 

His work in the films Bayam Ariyaan (tamil) and Chapter 6 (telugu) received critical acclaim from various quarters in the media. His short film Gulli Danda which is based on a story by Munshi Premchand, was screened in, besides many others, the Cannes International Film Festival and received special appreciation for its musical score. 

Shivan is also touring with his band, a collaborative venture with YUJ live featuring renowned musicians and performers, performing fusion music. The music is aimed to be an amalgamation of Indian classical music with various genres from around the globe like Blues, Samba, Lounge and Folk. The main strength of the resulting music is its unique blend that goes beyond just entertainment, and is a pure blissful experience by itself.
