So, my friend Matthew is making a video game, which is a maze kind of game, and he has asked me to write the music for it, so I will be writing loads of music in the 8-bit style. I decided recently that I should try writing a song, and this happened! I was convinced I couldn't write a song so I tried to do so and this was the outcome. 
My biggest challenge was writing the lyrics, so I decided to make it into a joke about how my friends are so obsessed with me. It is the summer, so most of them are on holidays or busy, but I am not doing anything so I thought I'd write a song about how they're always inviting me out and stalking me - as a joke.

'Teen Spirit' by SZA is probably my favourite song of all time. I connect to it on such an emotional level, and I find it so beautiful and dark. It seems like every time I listen to it I get a new interpretation of what the song is about, which I love. So yeah, I had to do a cover of it. But I couldn't find an instrumental anywhere online, so I decided to make my own by sampling the first 8 bars of the original and making it a loop, then I aranged the rest.  It was produced and recorded on Logic Pro X by myself.
