＜RVNG Intl.＞のアーカイヴァル・シリーズ第３弾は、80年代初頭より自身のレーベル＜Palace Of Lights＞から作品をリリースしている米シアトルのアンビエントのパイオニアK.Leimerの1975年〜1983年に制作した音源30曲コンパイルした未発表音源集！アンビエント / インディ / ディスコ / ビート・ファンまで幅広くオススメ出来るコズミックなニューエイジ・ファンク！！

ダダイズムやシュルレアリスムに影響を受けた10代を過ごし、70年代初期にはUKの雑誌NME、Melody Maker、また地元のレコード屋で60年代アートを音楽に持ち込んだCan、Neu!、Faust、Clusterを勉強したというKerry Leimer。音楽を作り始めた当初は質屋で見つけたチープな楽器や録音機材を使っていたが、その後すぐにマイクロモーグやTEACマルチテープマシーン等の機材により彼のサウンドパレットは洗練され、また同時期にTerry Rileyのテープループの手法を取り入れたRobert FrippとBrian Enoのアルバム『No Pussyfooting』からも影響を受け、Leimerサウンドの特徴となるアナログシンセの温かな音色や時に優美で時にキャッチーなメロディーを反復する音楽的なフレーズを形成。神秘的であり牧歌的でもあるニューエイジなアトモスフィア、温かい極上のアナログ・サウンド、心地よいアンビエントからダビーなディスコ・ファンクまでレイドバックに幅広く楽しめる素晴らしい内容です！
