The conscious LSD self-experiment
In order to get to the bottom of this unusual experience, he decided on April 19, 1943 to test the substance himself using the smallest effective dose he could think of, and recorded the experience three days later:[4]

5:00 p.m. Beginning of dizziness, feeling of anxiety, visual disturbances, paralysis, urge to laugh.
Home by bike. From 6 p.m. to around 8 p.m. the worst crisis, see special report:
I was only able to write down the last words with great difficulty. […] the changes and sensations were of the same kind [as yesterday], only much more profound. It was only with great effort that I was able to speak intelligibly and asked my laboratory assistant, who had been informed about the self-experiment, to accompany me home. Already on the way home by bike […] my condition took on threatening forms. Everything in my field of vision wavered and distorted, like a curved mirror. I also had the feeling that I couldn't move on the bike. However, my assistant later told me that we were driving very fast. [When I got home], the dizziness and feeling of fainting became so severe at times that I could no longer hold myself upright and had to lie down on a sofa. My surroundings had now changed in a frightening way. […] the familiar objects took on grotesque, mostly threatening shapes. They were in constant motion, as if animated, as if filled with inner restlessness. The neighbor's woman [...] was no longer Mrs. R., but a malicious, treacherous witch with a colorful grimace. etc. etc.”

Expressions Of The Source

I sat before a painting by Tetsis in Athens recently, entitled Hydra Sunset. I intend to write a series of pieces entitled The Hydra Suites. Everything I made before seeing the paint of Tetsis, lacks meaning...unless as an apprenticeship. He made rock melt,  before light. As a function of curation, I should destroy most of what I have made before. It no longer matters.
