PeDRo PRaTeS - in my life [the beatles]

by 2004 i was sure that life had to be much 
more than what we are expected to believe 
it is... and yet the practice of this awareness 
came with the deep pain of realizing how 
little i had been living... how untrue i had 
always been to my self. to go beyond 
accusing the world of all its greed and 
self-distructing unbalance, i had to come 
to terms with my own part in the 
process... this album is a collection 
of sounds found in and around me 
thoughout that year, put together as i 
jumped in the decision to let go of all 
the ambitions and deeds that i once 
thought were me... it was made 
against my own desires, tricking my 
own will... it is the first result of an 
internal rebellion set out for the 
freedom of my soul.

i.com' was the first major hole in the 
wall, that nearly cost my life. it was 
the only way my conscience had 
available to set on its quest. so it 
required parting with all against it, 
on a deeper level - my personality 
included. in practice, it all made up 
for a very lonely year most of the 
time. in some other times, i was 
blessed with true love. i treasure all 
the momeants that i found support in 
to go on, and the people that made it 
all possible with their true love in 
those special times... the Invisible, 
first and foremost, for never giving 
up on me.

catarina. carlos, isabel, margarida, and 
rosa, so many ways. heli, aalvaro and the 
beautiful american couple that shared 
the afternoon with me in monastiraki, 
the day the games were closed. 
some people i remember here fo a quick 
moment, and others for their constant 
support; all of them are greatly part 
of this unfolding of sounds through 
the spirit of their love, that i share here 
with you. all the best to you!
