Onze chansons écrites par des philosophes de dix pays européens, interprétées sur scène devant un jury différent chaque soir – c’est la création imaginée par les artistes lausannois·es Massimo Furlan et Claire de Ribaupierre.

Comme un autre concours télévisuel célèbre de chansons, ce projet réunit des personnalités européennes, mais ce sont cette fois onze philosophes qui en écrivent les paroles. De jeunes artistes de la Haute Ecole de Musique Vaud Valais Fribourg en composent les musiques et les interprètent sur scène. Un jury de penseuses et penseurs, renouvelé tous les soirs, commente les paroles, prolonge le raisonement de l’auteur·e et vote avec le public pour désigner la chanson gagnante c’est le Concours européen de la chanson philosophique, imaginé par l’artiste lausannois Massimo Furlan et la dramaturge Claire de Ribaupierre.

Massimo Furlan présente cette cérémonie ludique et rythmée inspirée par un des premiers événements de culture populaire à dimension européenne. Des figures de la pensée comme le Lausannois Mondher Kilani, la Belge Vinciane Despret, le Français Philippe Artières ou le Slovène Mladen Dolar mettent en rimes le dérèglement climatique et la nature, la consommation, les formes d’espoir ou de résistance… Alors l’entertainment, la chanson et l’humour participent au partage des idées et remettent la réflexion intellectuelle au centre du débat public, dans le contexte actuel de montée des populismes. Une soirée enfiévrée où les tubes s'enchaînent, invitant à débattre de politique, de questions de société et du vivre-ensemble.

Poétique Électronique began life as a duo made up of Ben Auris and Moritz Gaudlitz. Ben, a solo artist, has been writing, producing and performing for more than a couple of years. Moritz works as a DJ for electronic music, a music producer and as a journalist.
After meeting in Vienna, the pair started mixing their distinct musical styles as an experiment. The boundaries quickly became blurred, the two of them bringing in and fusing their own musical influences – resulting in warm, deep synthsounds and perscussive drum beats, combined with reverberating guitar tunes, finished with Ben’s rough, somewhat haunting voice.
Their musical project survived Ben’s move to Paris and in summer 2012 they released their first EP ‘The Paris Session’. Gathering momentum, they then started playing live shows in Vienna, Berlin and Munich. 
In the beginning of 2013 Poétique Électronique reevaluated their position both musically and geographically. They are now based in Berlin. After 'Imperfection of the human being’ which was released in may 2013 they took a 2 year break. 

Now PÉ is back with a new song 'Unjust Fate'.
