Beautiful theme and real nostalgic feeling!

There's always a theme that pops up in my head and from there I start to build something. During the process the music gets dressed in several different musical outfits until its finally finished. The golden voice of Lena Arlid https://lenaarlidfrennberg.com is, as always, a perfect blend.

The Glimmering Shore

They married in haste on a bright winter’s day 
Knowing the next tide would sail him away

High masted whaler, fading from view

Darklings of winter, snow blankets the sand.

My imagining the court music in 16th century Spain. Something like Boccherini's (later inspiration)for the Fandango and perceptions on his ventures from Italy.

You get that its intrinsically Spanish hey!   I wrote the harpsichord as a continuo supported by cello/Viola De Gamba.  4 guitar parts and one is baroque guitar.
