This is my first track to be released and shared on Soundcloud for 2025. And this is the first in a series of Upbeat instrumentals or songs that I will share here. The songs in this series are using non-commercial loops in a hybrid fashion with my own studio instruments though but I really enjoy sharing these pieces with my Soundcloud listeners. 'Let's Sail Together' is a good beginning for this series and represents well this spirit of the many new songs that I will bring to this series. And for this coming year I will say to you, have a happy new year and may I continue to bring peace and comfort to all my good listeners! ;)

It is a variation of ‘Minor Swing’ in the intro. One of my fave guitarists. So I kept the rhythm of the lead but changed the notes after the first few notes. In an accurate homage, I played it with 2 fingers.. Also changed the rhythm of the rhythm guitar a bit. I played a minor bebop scale in there. Did some superimposition with the lead on the 3rd and 5th degrees. Then the opening synth melody is taken from ‘Spitting off the edge of the world.’ I also noticed they change to bells midway through the verse so that’s what I did too. Borrowed chord at the end of the last phrase. Secondary dominant to transition to the chorus.Then for the 2nd verse an added real bass. Lastly there is counterpoint for the strings related to the vocals at the last chorus. Still needs more practice but that is something new I’ve tried. I think the electrofunk tune will be a lot better. But, all in all, out of all the mixed songs so far this year, if this is worst song in terms of melody/phrasing, then it’s a good year. It is the more creative one out of the 3 new ones.
I began the song on piano and improvised “I came I saw I conquered’ so I figured I might as well write about Caesar. Prefer Alexander or Genghis and also much prefer Caesar in Planet of the Apes. Apart from the first line of the verse, the rest of the lyrics are written. Chorus is improvised. I learnt that Veni Vidi Vici doesn’t mean I came… It means a swift victory.

This is a remix of Laidback Luke & Nostalgix's heavy festival banger "1000 BPM", inspired by the 2000s bloghouse sound. My remix is an acid style hard house version, with a relentless, pounding beat, acid-style synth grooves, and a deep rolling bassline. The track is driven by Nostalgix's catchy vocal hooks and Laid Back Luke's epic synth hooks and stabs. This is a massive track and not for the feint of heart!

Adam first began music production in March 2020 during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and like a lot of people who tried something new, quickly got the bug and the excitement of creating music that he and others would like to listen to.  

Working as a Triage Paramedic in the UK, the increased pressures on everyone in the control room was taking a massive its toll on his teams’ health and mental wellbeing. Recognising this, he used his love for creating music to keep spirits up and keep the team smiling. Working closely with his team, their encouragement and positive comments has only made the team stronger and helped Adam with new styles and genres.  

Being a lover of trance music and having spent many years listening to the likes of Paul Vandyke, Robert Miles, Judge Jules and Pete Tong,Adam wanted to try and recreate some of the magic and masterpieces that they created, but in his own style.  

Adam started trying to create music that crossed boundaries and mixed genres. He experimented with trying to mix trap beats with warm soothing trance undertones to make uplifting memorable melodies that make you smile and keep your toes tapping. Adam adores pianos with some orchestral flavour thrown in. He also loves trying to incorporate the sounds of the wild and sounds from everyday life.  

Adam continues to mix genres together to make something new to challenges the way we think of music. It is OK to try something new and find your own way and Adam is happily finding his feet whilst trying to etch his own music style. Music is an art, and we all see things and hear things differently buy hey, that’s life all over! 

If one of my tracks is enjoyed then it makes it worth while 😁😁😁👍

Think I might have found the type of track I enjoy making...well I seem to gravitate back to it :)

10 months in still enjoying making some tunes but seem to have stuck on the same style 😂 time to try another and come back to the other I think.
