Exactly ten years after the release of  his debut album eMotion Pictures, 
ANDREAS WOLTER returns with another modern classical piano masterpiece. In the meantime, the Berlin-based composer and pianist has kept himself busy writing and producing over a dozen original soundtracks for renowned German filmmakers such as Rosa von Praunheim and Elfi Mikesch, to name but a few. While he is often compared with contemporaries like Ludovico Einaudi ("Les Intouchables"), George Winston and Wim Mertens, Andreas' musical roots reach far deeper, a rich ferment from Bach via Chopin to the French Dadaist and Minimalist Erik Satie – to whom he pays homage on eMotion Pictures II. While Wolter draws inspiration from basically every aspect of life, the overarching theme here is Italy, or, to be more accurate, the sublime beauty of Tuscany, where for centuries "high art", great literature, music and architecture combine with "Lebensart" ("art of living"), including – of course – the best food and wines. Somehow, via osmosis, these aspects of culture must have influenced the versatile virtuoso from Berlin-Pankow to create the eleven intricate, yet easy to enjoy musical  masterpieces which make up eMotion Pictures II.
