I came up with this song inspired by a short road trip I took to visit a friend I hadn't seen in a long while. I always end up having a great time visiting this friend so I was very much looking forward to getting there. I was dwelling on all the fun times we'd had on my way there.. wishing I could drive faster than the speed limit. I had a whole weekend of trekking, camping, and barbecuing planned and had packed all my gear with me. The sheer anticipation of a short break with my friend and beers in the sun had me pumped! So when I was back at my studio I had to turn that feeling into a song and 'on my way' is the result! I hope you like it!

Pedro Henrique is a Brazilian composer, music producer and beatmaker. He began his musical career by producing Progressive House, Dubstep, Trap and other EDM styles. Then, he discovered beatmaking and the delicacy of lofi productions, making him start combining light melodies with hip hop beats. ‘Dawn’ is a mellow beat, almost as warm and comforting as a big cuddle. Every sonic element is designed to bring a lot of emotion to this track and create a breach in space and time for every daydreamer.

this was sewn together while on a holiday in which i didn't have any stringed instruments along with me. and had to do with the only tool at hand, my own Apfel Rechner. 

so my usual down-pitched guitar loops were added later, when i finally got to play along the tracks i had laid down while in Südtirol, together with a few, loose notes on a piano, some overall effects for the track, and a sound badge made with pink noise and three sine bursts. 

don't know how this gets to you, but i'm almost ashamed for how evident the rhythm content is, something i usually manage to keep well clear of. it's here, no point in fighting it.

that's why i've opted for adding rumble and muddiness within the fx chains, and even expanded it to an octave below my usual: it wouldn't have solidified to my usual concotion if so much white had been left on the page. 

it ain't an audiophile track, it's sunday and i'm off the job, so it doesn't have to sound neither clear not nice. dense, if at all possible, yes please.
