A case of outer spatial melancholy, “Longing” starts off as a slo-hatching roller that aims for nothing but the vastness of greater summits. Reeling out in sustained glissandos and cascades of iridescent synth shades, the track guzzles us in a vortex of wistful grace. “Bridges & Walls” calls in further dynamic waves of keyboard jitter and multi-level machine talk, delayed arpeggios and dubbed-out bleeps blazing from the deeper end up to the sleek surface of its vivid synth tapestries with unrestrained ease.

“Off-Piste” moves the cursor back to a more inward-gazing kind of headspace with its dream pop-inherited buildup, unrelenting swing and laid-back pads oozing a most idyllic late summer vibe. For the first time ever I was producing a sample pack. Unison Audio invited me, so I have spent a lot of time in the studio during the lockdown to create and save new sounds. This package is a mix of leads, basslines, drums and effects I love to use for my own productions aswell. Many of these sounds should be familiar to you when listening this demo track. Just in case you wonder: most of the sounds had been made with the old Roland JV 2080, you might see this influence on the cover :)

The Leipzig based DJ and Producer Max alias Panik Pop has been a favorite for years for varied productions between Tech- and Deep House, between ecstasy and melancholy. In the last few years he has been a regular musical guest at the most important clubs from Germany over Swiss, Netherlands to Italia. He also played gigs at the biggest electronic festivals in Germany,  like Nature One, Sonne Mond Sterne, Helene Beach Festival, Sputnik Spring Break and released on boutique labels such as Moonboutique (@moonbootique), Embassy of Music (@embassyofmusic), Parquet Recordings (@parquetrecordings) or Kittball Rec. (@kittball). With his debut album „Isolated“ from 2019, Panik Pop created a musical image with his emotions and thus gained further international recognition. Since 2020 he's always leaving the Deep House genre and heading to a new musical territory. For now, he follows the unique Panorama of Underground Minimal and Techhhouse Vibes, inspired by Chris Stussy (@djchrisstussy), Dimmish (@dimmish) or the huge catalog of Solid Grooves (@solidgrooves-records) or PIV Records (@pivrecords).
