Was chopping Chopin's "nocturne op 55" when i realized that my old tune "only two" has the same freaking chorus harmony as the main theme of his piece.

It's me (feat. CatNat)

My first tune made entirely in Reason 7.0. I've been using Reason for past 10 years but always as a slave synth via rewire. Since 6.0 it supported direct audio recording, but I waited till v7 to make sure they work all the glitches out. Anyway, it's OK, it's a bit clunky and less than intuitive to work with the audio files compared to Acid, but i'm getting a hang of it. Anyhooo... cheers. Just a silly track after all that talking.

it was a fun project. Especially making Emily recite French poetry by Charles Baudelaire's. She was so eager to really get it out there and I was trying to hold her back with my request to just chill out and read it out like you just don't care. Well.. you be the judge, lol... just couldn't leave Lilly's vocals alone after an originally non-impressive pixie's cover. This time it's sort of a beachy tune... Enjoy.

Where is my mind (acoustic, feat. Lilly)

back to the trip-hop wagon. Was chopping the beautiful piece called  "Barcarolle" by Tchaikovsky. .. then reduced it to a simple trip-hop beat with one of the original parts sort of intact.. Anyway, spoken/sung poetry with some singing in the chorus..  It's definitely got that feeling of inevitability.

I wonder what should we do to be in love (Retro)

I stumbled upon Erik Satie's pieces from 19th century. His Gymnopédies & Gnossiennes melodies and their juxtaposition over the deep minor harmonies are mesmerizing. So I ended up fusing the Russian version of the lyrics for my track "Misery"  with Erik's "Gnossiennes part 3".
  
the end result is a rather moody and strangely melodic cohesion of a dirty electronic background layered with the zesty "je nais se quois" velvet of the piano... and well.. my voice here and there..
