Fu una cavalcata indomabile quella con cui Wrong Assessment chiuse il sipario del sabato notte: bpm potenti che scalfirono la terra e travolsero la folla.

We inaugurate the new year with a set whose energy still snakes through the trees of the Komorebi Music Festival. A set capable of subjugating bodies to the rhythm of a darkness dense of strong techno and synergies.
It was an untamable ride with which Wrong Assessment closed the curtain on Saturday night: powerful bpm that scratched the earth and overwhelmed the crowd.

Di momenti d'alta intensità energetica, ne fu pieno il Komorebi Music Festival. Momenti il cui il tempo fu reso più denso dalla consapevolezza comune che l'attimo che si stava vivendo era davvero speciale, così tanto atteso e consumato nei mesi precedenti, da essere ''troppo bello per essere vero''.
Quando A.Brehme prese in mano il timone della nostra console, fu un climax musicale dove il pathos di un artista così connesso alla nostra dimensione si ritrovò perfettamente sintonizzato con chi era lì, ed ebbe la fortuna di ballarlo.
Ed anche oggi, snaturati e lontani dal nostro bosco, basta cliccare play per rientrare in quel vortice di bpm che soggiogò ogni nostro passo, durante il suo set.

The Komorebi Music Festival was full of moments of high energy intensity. Moments whose time was made denser and fuller by the common awareness that the moment we were living was really special, so much awaited and consumed in the previous months, to be "too good to be true".
When A. Brehme took the helm of our console, it was a musical climax where the pathos of such an artist so connected to our dimension found himself perfectly tuned with those who were there, and had the luck to dance it.
And even today, far from our forest, we can just click play to return to that vortex of bpm that bewitched our every step, during his set.

On Sunday afternoon at the Komorebi Music Festival, time was plasmed by the rhythm of Eversines vinyls.
A unique sound that the artist has been able to give us: the unmistakable imprint of his dreamy house tracks, broken by breakbeat tones and acid peaks, all seasoned with a beloved bassline. A vinyl tornado that literally transported us to another planet where the harmony of its polyphonic timbre dictated the movement of our steps.

Instancabile ricercatore ed ascoltatore di perle da 33 e 45 giri, una legame con la musica che incarna quel tipo di passione viscerale che da più di tre decadi è il motore della sua vita.

Questo suo versatilismo, affiancato ad eseprienze più personali come dieci anni di canto corale, emergono tangibilmente nell'eterogeneità con cui caratterizzza i propri set. Dai ritmi tribali del Sud America, sua terra d'origine, all'affezionato basso cui non manca mai una sfumatura in continua evoluzione, spaziando dall'acid all'electro.

The week begins with Yamila, resident of the Closer collective, a globetrotter in visiting, tasting, and embracing the most disparate realities of the scene.
Her musical pattern has roots in sound lands that are as disparate as they are complementary in their overall vision. This versatility of his, alongside experiences such as ten years of singing in a choir, tangibly emerge in the heterogeneity with which she characterizes her sets. 
From the tribal rhythms of South America, his homeland, to the affectionate bass that never misses a constantly evolving nuance, ranging from acid to electro.

Kasei P, artista di base ad Amsterdam e parte del collettivo Cumulonembi, sintetizza nella sua musica l'unione di stili diversi (electro, footwork, jungle, gabber, ghetto) senza perdere la costante influenza accademica e non del jazz e dell’avanguardia. 
Il sintetizzatore non è più "solo" una mera fonte sonora, ma uno strumento a tutti gli effetti con il quale esprimere la propria indole. 
Il live set racchiude al suo interno sei "composizioni" che formeranno il primo Ep dell’artista, NU ALARMCORE: album assemblato come progetto di fine studi  presso il conservatorio di Amsterdam.
Il live set è  performato con i seguenti strumenti: Arturia Minibrute, MFB Tanzbär lite, Elektron digitone, la quale ha funzionato anche come interfaccia audio per registrare il tutto su Ableton tramite il software di elektron, overbrige.

Kasei P, artist based in Amsterdam and part of the Cumulonembi collective, synthesizes in his music the union of different styles (electro, footwork, jungle, gabber, ghetto) without losing the constant academic and non-academic influence of jazz and avant-garde.
The synthesizer is no longer "just" a mere sound source, but a full-fledged tool with which to express one's nature.
The live set contains six "compositions" that will form the artist's first Ep, NU ALARMCORE: album assembled as a final study project at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
The live set is performed with the following instruments: Arturia Minibrute, MFB Tanzbär lite, Elektron digitone, which also functioned as an audio interface to record everything on Ableton via the elektron software, overbrige.

Traccia dopo traccia, dinamismo e maestria tecnica riconfermano la potenza ed il valore di cos è, per Dj Red, la musica.

Regalò un set memorabile al nostro bosco durante l'edizione del 2018: con questo prezioso nuovo episodio ci racconta la sua storia, sempre diversa e sempre la stessa, stregando la mente ed soggiogando il corpo.
Membro del colletivo Acquario e rinomato Resident del salotto di Masada per l'energia che è in grado di trasmettere al dancefloor ed ai suoi abitanti danzanti con i suoi ineguagliabili viaggi sonori.

Originally from Den Bosch (NL), Rosa found creative ways to thrive after dark—organizing free outdoor parties and founding the collective Rooibosch. Later, she launched Draaisessies in Tilburg, a community space offering free DJ and music production lessons to local youth.
Her musical style fuses a wide range of rhythms and genres: delivering bass-heavy, percussion-driven tracks for the club floor, while her radio show Work in Progress on Operator explores warm, experimental sounds for more laid-back listening.

We couldn't have wished for a better artist, vibe, or energy to make the ground shake and get you in the mood to move.
This set is a powerful ride through a polyrhythmic universe, handled with precision, speed, and dynamic control. A masterfully woven network of sounds that pulls you into total immersion.

Per il quarto episodio della nostra podcast series dedicata al Komorebi Music Festival, vi abbiamo riservato qualcosa davvero speciale.
È complicato, alla vigilia di giorni importanti, alla vigilia del nostro giorno importante, riuscire ad esternare sensazioni presentimenti emozioni e quel turbinio di pensieri che ci avvolge. Come l'onda del mare che non sommerge, ma tiene a galla.
Abbiamo deciso allora di far raccontare una storia un po' particolare, una storia che parla del Komorebi Music festival, ad un'artista di un calibro, un tatto, una sonorità unica. Così lontana, eppure così estremamente vicina, se ascolti. Un'artista cui stesso nome è natura. Ma, sopratutto, un'artista cui musica narra di torrenti di montagna, dei verdi steli dell'erba, del sale del mare, della rugiada di prima mattina.

Era domenica, il crepuscolo iniziava ad incupire il cielo sovrastante la chiome dei nostri alberi.
Il dancefloor, tinto da luci colorate, da movimento di corpi. Da sorrisi, come per smorzare quella già sensazione melanconica di arrivederci, da ci vediamo qua a ballare anche il prossimo anno.

Lentamente la mattina scivolava impercettibile nelle prime ore del pomeriggio quando il cielo tronfio di sfumature grigie e bluastre minacciava tempesta, arrocato sulle creste di alberi più scuri del solito, al Komorebi Music Festival. Eppure l'aria iniziava a trasudare un'energia diversa: suoni plumbei ed elettronici, vibrazioni mistiche, un ipnotico live set quello con cui i Primal Code ci permisero di salpare verso lande straniere, diverse, trasformando il tempo e lo spazio col potere del loro suono e proiettandoci verso un'ora di viaggio...molto più che un viaggio.
Oggi, come allora, buon ascolto.

The bleary morning was drifting slowly into the afternoon. The sky, loaded with grey and blueish colours, laid in wait above the darker than usual tree tops, threatening to unleash a storm on the Komorebi Music Festival.
Nonetheless the air was starting to perspire a different energy: gloomy and electronic sounds, mystic vibes. A hypnotic live set by Primal Code let us to set sail towards foreign and diverse lands. Thanks to the power of their sound time and space were transformed. We were launched on a one-hour journey…more than a journey.

Come il canto delle sirene, cullato dagli abissi, emerge per stregare le anime di marinai e naufraghi. Qualcosa di simile accadde, quando Jane Fitz domò natura e corpi sottomettendoli al ritmo  mistico, sciamanico, del proprio set. Il suono che si ribellò alla pioggia sommessa di quel pomeriggio di luglio, per rendere anche noi danzanti infallibili, eravamo un un unico movimento stregato e soggiogato dalla magia di quei vinili.
Senza bisogno di ulteriori presentazioni futili, tronfi d'orgoglio e con un fondo di malinconia: la poliedrica Jane Fitz, e ciò che fu in grado di regalarci al Komorebi Music Festival.

Like a siren song, lulled by the abyss, emerging to bewitch the souls of sailors and shipwrecked Jane Fitz tamed nature and our bodies gave in to the mystical and shamanic rhythm of the set.
The sound rebelled against the drizzle of that July afternoon making us dancers infallible and united in movement, spellbound and beholden to the magic of her records. The multi-talented Jane Fitz needs no further introduction, we proudly present with a touch of melancholy the gift she gave us at Komorebi Music Festival.

La peculiarità delle onde sonore è quella di propagarsi in ogni stato della materia: solido, liquido, gassoso... ovunque. Anche nel vuoto. La tradizione druidica parla di un’iniziale condizione di esistenza dalla quale si liberò una vibrazione, un fenomeno ondulatorio di colossale potenza, che si propagò in tutte le direzioni e creò connessioni permanenti tra ogni corpo fisico e non presente sulla Terra. Anche la fisica moderna, con la teoria delle stringhe vibranti all’origine della materia, non fa altro che allinearsi a questa visione: immaginate un sottile filamento di energia centinaia di volte più piccolo di un nucleo atomico, poco si discosta dalla corda di una chitarra, che in continua vibrazione invisibilmente lega ognuno di noi. 
Questa puntata della nostra podcast series arriva da oltreoceano con Craft, che da Brooklyn col suo pattern ipnotico ricorda di come la musica sia in grado di creare connessioni a discapito di vincoli sociali o distanziamento fisico; il potere di un flusso di vibrazioni in grado di diramarsi e trasmettere, legare, unire, far... sentire. Il set che ci propone è un viaggio che spazia tra dub, techno addentrandosi in sonorità deep techno ed ancor più deep è il mood in cui abilmente vi conduce disco dopo disco.
