新たにMix Seriesをローンチ！サイケデリックやインテリジェンスな音楽をテクノのフォーマットで表現、拘り抜いたアーティスト選定が最終的なコンセプトとなる。

第一弾は、本シリーズを始動するきっかけとなったMarco Shuttleを迎える。Marco Shuttleの音楽感を語る上で「シネマティック」というワードは絶対的であり、まさにそれを体感できるセット、2022年12月に沖縄Veronaで開催したAgaitida "Year End Party" でオファーした3時間の録音をMix Series 01として公開。沖縄のフィーリングに寄せた一味も二味も異なるMarco Shuttleをお楽しみください。

For the first installment, we warmly welcome Marco Shuttle, who inspired us to start this series. The word "Cinematic" is absolutely essential to Marco Shuttle's play style. 3 hours live recording from Agaitida "Year End Party" held in Okinawa in December 2022 is now published as Mix Series 01. In Korea's short electronic music culture, Xanexx has been a DJ and producer in the electronic music industry in Seoul since 2008. After he decided to present himself as 'Xanexx', he began to focus on techno music. This led him to establish the label "Hexa Records" and to release EP Grenzsituation to out his techno works.

Also he was a resident DJ of the solid techno club in Seoul, Vurt. He is still a DJ who does not miss various clubs and festivals in Seoul.

Xanexx is a representative techno label/podcast in Korea, SCOPIVIK, which includes Refracted, Evigt Mörker, Pharaoh & Yogg, and Pris. He released another EP that included remixes of Deep Techno artists. He showed his solid sound arrangement by releasing the Alpha Range full length album in 2022.

The sounds he articulate act more as a extended role filling unoccupied space, rather expressing accurate scales. Each element of sounds creates space releasing presence, falling into place one another without reference to its dissoant meaning. And it inculcates experience of original sentiment and sense, not the prevalent one.

한국의 짧은 전자 음악 문화 속에서, Xanexx는 2008년부터 서울을 기반으로 DJ/프로듀서로 활동해왔다. 그는 자신을 Xanexx라고 지칭하면서부터 이전의 The Riotz 활동과 구분되는 테크노 음악 작업에 집중하기 시작했다. 이후 그는 ‘Hexa Records’라는 레이블을 설립하고, ‘Grenzsituation’ EP를 발매하여 테크노에 깊이 뿌리를 두는 음악적 자아를 선보였다.

또한 그는 서울 최초의 테크노 클럽인 ‘Vurt’의 레지던트 DJ로 활동하였으며, 그 기간동안 한국 테크노의 공연예술적 위치를 확립했다. Vurt에서 독립한 이후 그는 여전히 서울의 다양한 클럽과 축제를 놓치지 않는 DJ로 한국의 테크노 씬을 대표하고 있다.

Xanexx는 한국의 대표적인 테크노 레이블/팟캐스트인 SCOPIVIK을 통해 Refracted, Evigt Mörker, Pharaoh & Yogg, 그리고 Pris와 같은 딥 테크노 아티스트들의 리믹스가 포함된 EP를 발매했다. 또한, 2022년에 ‘Alpha Range’ 정규 앨범을 발매함으로써 탄탄한 사운드 디자인 작업을 보여주었다.

With two major milestones upon us today, we're fortunate enough to be celebrating with one of the finest in electronic music. A new year is upon us and today we also reach a major podcast milestone, to celebrate we welcome none other than contemporary techno legend, DJ Nobu for MNMT 400.

With decades of experience and as founder of both acclaimed party ‘Future Terror’ and record label ‘Bitta’, DJ Nobu has slowly but surely turned from being one of Japan's finest, to one of the world’s most in demand selectors. A great friend of Monument who delivered an incredible closing set at our first ever Monument City Festival in 2023, we couldn’t be happier to be marking the occasion with him. 

For this very special mix Nobu presents a stunning introspective excursion through electronica and deeper shades to celebrate the two milestones.

Bassiani/Horoom의 레지던트 아티스트 HVL은, 2009년 듀오 Okinawa Lifestyle의 멤버로 처음 주목받기 시작한 이후 조지아의 트빌리시 클럽 씬을 중심으로 번성하는 테크노 무브먼트의 선두에 서 있다. 2013년 솔로 활동을 시작한 이후 HVL은 다양한 장르와 스타일을 탐구해왔고, Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records, Organic Analogue와 같은 언더그라운드 전초기지에서 발매된 그의 솔로 앨범들은 라이브 공연과 DJ 세트를 통해 만들어진 그의 독특한 취향을 담아내고 있다.
Organic Analogue Records에서 발매된 뛰어난 풀-랭스 데뷔작인 Ostati LP(2018)는 트빌리시 사운드를 정의하는 앨범으로, 매우 절제된 분위기의 아웃보드 하우스와 테크노를 중심으로 기존 HVL의 역동성을 매혹적으로 변화시킨 작품이다.
솔로 아티스트로서 HVL의 명성이 높아짐에 따라 셀렉터이자 DJ로서 그의 위상도 높아지고 있으며, 그는 2018년 Berghain, Hï Ibiza, 그리고 Berlin Atonal까지 세계 최고의 댄스 플로어를 휩쓸며 한차원 높은 수준의 라이브 쇼와 DJ 세트를 선보였다.

First coming to attention as a member of Okinawa Lifestyle duo in 2009, Bassiani/Horoom resident Gigi Jikia a.k.a HVL has become a leading voice of thriving techno movement centered around Tbilisi club scene. Since starting solo career in 2013, HVL was busy exploring more diverse range of genres and styles. His solo releases which have appeared on underground outposts like Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records and Organic Analogue, have testified to taste that’s also reflected in his Live performances and DJ sets.
The outstanding debut Ostati LP on Organic Analogue Records (2018), intended as a manuscript of the sound of Tbilisi, is a seductive update on the established HVL’s dynamics, centered on outboard house and techno with a noticeably understated mood.
As HVL’s reputation as a solo artist grows, so does his status as a selector and DJ. Jikia has taken his skillfully crafted Live shows and DJ sets to new heights in 2018, hitting up some of the best dancefloors in the world from Berghain and Hï Ibiza to infamous Berlin Atonal.

“Dozzy and Shuttle’s finale unfolded like twilight. A prolonged dusk caressed by an eerie drizzle. Shadows and whispers echoing with the surroundings. Synapses slowly reaching the ground, merging and becoming one with the underground rhizomatic networks. A memorable rendez-Nous within a fractal space. It felt like being at the core center of the matrix, enveloped by a warmth reminiscent of a maternal womb. I found myself in a weightless suspension, envisioning the past, the present and the future, all together in a blink of an eye.”
