A kite is a tethered heavier-than-air craft with wing surfaces that react against the air to create lift and drag. A kite consists of wings, tethers and anchors. Kites often have a bridle and tail to guide the face of the kite so the wind can lift it. Kites is also the title of the premiere by Zurich Dada.
The track takes us back to the darkest depths of the retro future from Zurich Dada a Portuguese Synth Pop duo who take inspiration from quantum physics and the multiverse theory as much as they do from Depeche Mode or the Human League the track itself reinvented reworked and reconfigured by Anbau, the Catalan stalwart of Aspecto Humano.
In a kicking rewiring with a gorgeous vocal performance, tough drums, melodic analogue synths in a digital age. This is going to fly.

The night was in full swing; limbs moving and arms flailing wildly beneath the flashing lights. We'd been looking for somewhere special all night but no where seemed to keep us locked in. But here, things were different. The music was on point, the crowd were welcoming... So far everything had slotted into place. Tonight’s gonna be a good one, there was something in the air. Can't jinx it though, we’ll see how it plays out...

Making a return to their regular home of 90's Wax, Milanese duo Younger Than Me team up with Digitalo Enterprises boss Skatebard to pay homage to decades past. 'Lastens Badehus' is taken off the duo's forthcoming EP on the Tusk Wax sub-label; four club-ready tracks that celebrate the 90s sounds they've become known for.

To cope with the emergency COVID-19, 24 / H @twentyfourhoursrecords and the Temple of the Lost Future have created a new global network active on social and political issues with the aim of saving our planet. This is why RSTW was born.

Given the pandemic that has hit humanity in recent months, we want to raise funds to support public hospitals and health organizations that are fighting the virus on the front lines.  The first action is the creation of an open and constantly updated music compilation.  All proceeds will be divided between the different territories of origin of the artists who will donate their music to this project.

Hard Corps - Je Suis Passee (Tech Support "Edit")

Fired up on high energy Electrons, Timothy Clerkin’s imprint Insult To Injury (the label he runs with perennially on-point platform Ransom Note) is back with another arsenal of acid-tinged techno firearms. Manchester’s own Buran light the Bunsen burner & get things super-heated with their analogue heroics. Both tracks are borne from live jams, with minimal adjustment before going to press. 

Test phase completed, first out the blocks is Beta, employing a monster low end 303 and analogue percussion to create a menacing floor destroyer. This savage assault is quickly followed by Kincaid’s reimagining of the track – slowed down and, for want of a better phrase, like, totally dubbed out, maaaan. Electro collides with Space Echo for a truly unique experience. 

Particles is next, with some serious up-a-gear oomph; full on foot-stomping action, with relentlessly driven acidic bass that takes us back to a time when we could lose ourselves to a groove on the dance-floor. Peak time, rolling techno that demands you move your body. 

Finally, we wind up business with Earth Trax’s ferocious take on Particles. Stripping things back somewhat and highlighting the laser-focused sounds of the original, he’s created a space battle in electro-work-out format. Synth projectiles whizz by our ears before we’re ejected in the vacuum of space with a serene, synth-lead soundscape coda.

People haven't even had a chance to realise that 2021 will be just as weird for the first 6 months and Frankfurt transplant Stefan Haag better known as Chinaski and professional youngster Philipp Lauer already crossed their beams to shed some light into corona-tristesse. City Galerie is a tribute to a mall in the north bavarian town of Aschaffenburg, where Lauer bought his first LPs . Straight up brutalo futuristic architecture. Chinaski - City Galerie 1

Peak's origins are unknown, though it has been said he may have been raised deep in the Brokeback Mountians of East-Saxonia, but this is all mere speculation. Maturing (or not) in the club/rave scene and quickly picking up the art of DJing at the tender age of fifteen, he has made a name for himself in this urban jungle we call Berlin. Swift was first spotted in the Berlin area around the year 2000 or so when he teamed up with his partner in crime, Peak. They quickly melted their musical interests of house, disco, deep and dubby techno into a powerhouse sound that's main mission was banish the cold, dark, "minimal" sounds of that era in Berlin and warm the city up to the current sound that has taken over now. The duo was seen ducking in and out of the shadows of Berlin's most infamous clubs, before they finally found they're home in the mysterious, Salon - Zur wilden Renate. Together they have helped Renate grow from a club in it's infancy to the world-renowned underground mecca it has become today, boasting incredible house, techno and disco lineups on a weekly basis, not to mention a series of open air events and many wild themed parties throughout the year.
