Not So Easy

We are Pearl Music, a very new London reggae/calypso band, started by Casey Connor and Hugo Bronstein and now luckily including Belen Cagigal Ortiz and David Spring. Our band is named in tribute to and memory of Casey’s granny, Pearl Connor, from Trinidad and Tobago (profile picture is of the house she grew up in). 

She was a one-off woman who championed Caribbean and African arts and performers in the UK and did things her way. We are not strict with our sound when composing, happily mixing up a bit of rocksteady and ska with a pinch of pop.

We love to play our songs and hope you enjoy this little taste.
