KEEP IT DARK  Under this name, pearl & john (Alexia Monduit et Thomas Rannou) have assembled a series of songs with the help of David Aknin (Limousine, Jamaica).  using original covers or 'clins d'oeils', This series makes reference to several of the duo's major influences - Phil Spector - Amy Winehouse - Georges Bataille - Samuel Beckett - Ludwig von Beethoven -

The name PEARL&JOHN  comes from the children of Ch. Laughton's movie The Night of the Hunter. 
Their pop project is the simultaneous experience of 2 voices which are woven into a sonic stream. Music is played, recorded and edited in the studio and broadcasted with speakers. The rest are echos, imaginary and presence.
