The idea was to make another one hour mix but somehow it managed to get over 2h. This one is probably my personal favorite in the Remedy series yet.

" At a time when not only our nation, but the whole world is facing its shadow I've tried my best to take a step outside my white male reality and dive deep into the music of Black Artists and listen, and it’s truly been a humbling experience… No, I will never truly understand the pain, struggle, and perseverance of our Black, Native, Latino, and minority Brothers and Sisters, but I can stand with, fight back, and truly listen.

I’ve compiled some amazing pieces of music from multiple generations and did my best to keep the integrity of each song. The end of the mix has 8 minutes and 46 seconds of silence to honor the death and sacrifice of George Floyd. For all my fellow white brothers and sisters, I hope you’ll take that time to reflect and illuminate your own prejudice, privilege, and shadow (which we all have wether we admit to it or not).... and to all my Black and Brown brothers and sisters, I want you to know I stand with you and want to do my part in amplifying your messages and art." 

Facing the shadow is never easy but neglecting it only gives it power. So I invite all to dive deep into Shadow Werk, Vol 1: Just Listen.

Recorded at Burning Man 2012 "Fertility" on a solo night-time bike ride heading from deep playa into circling about a hundred yards or so off the Esplanade.   Wow!  I had my trusty rusty old Schwinn almost squeek free that year!  And the rustling sounds you'll hear is my Zoom H2 recorder conflicting with my backpack that it was strapped to in my bike basket.  Especially when I hit some rougher pockets of playa around the 7 minute mark.  Now PUT ON YOUR HEADPHONES, CLOSE YOUR EYES, AND TRAVEL *HOME* FOR A MINUTE.  ENJOY!

Stardust, the third and final single from the upcoming Poranguí Resueño Remixes album, carries us away into otherworldly sonic realms created by newly formed End of Time (a project of Trippin Jaguar). This mix sets a foundation with the sublime voice of Poranguí while weaving delicate percussion and synths in a dreamy spacetime voyage. The ethereal soundscape slowly builds and flowers into an ecstatic trance inducing slow-motion journey. Beyond all our identities, fears and differences, Stardust gently invites us to remember that we are ultimately made up of astral particles from ancient stars spread across the cosmos.
