A detour from my usual style! VIto had already composed a soundtrack prior to inviting me in, and asked me to use it as a foundation to create something completely new, so it was a fun challenge!

Main inspiration for this soundtrack was CAVE's shmup soundtracks from the 00's! Espgaluda II being the main one.

Had a lot of fun making this one, tried to not put chiptune sounds in it for a change, do some of the sequencing by playing it myself and stray a bit more from my usual inspirations for this one, they include Tokimeki Memorial, Animal Crossing and Skullgirls' OSTs, as well as Pat Metheny's and other Jazz Fusion musician's works.

A Cave to Explore

My submission to Battle of the Bits' "Infloresce & Friends: Charity Festival" competition. Got voted 1st out of 69 entries (nice)!

Had this idea in my head for a few days, only had a day available to make it in time for the compo. I was really self aware of how it turned out and definitely would like to revisit this track eventually, but I`m glad it resonated with so many people.

Heavily inspired by Kazumi Totaka and Ayana Tsujita's works.
