SCHANDE was composed in response to events in Dresden on 9 November 2020, the 82nd anniversary of the infamous November Pogroms (also known as 'Kristallnacht') in Nazi Germany. A commemorative event had been cancelled by the authorities on account of the coronavirus pandemic. However, these same authorities allowed a demonstration by the far right group Pegida. The word 'Schande' means ‘shame’.

trata-se de uma impro-composição a partir de registros vocais de sonhos pandêmicos durante o ano de 2020 (minhas vozes gravadas ao celular, no despertar, trazendo a memória imediata do sonho), registros de paisagens sonoras diversas, coletados de derivas por cidades no México e no Brasil e imagens de derivas urbanas realizadas na CDMX e em Porto Alegre

toda a produção sonora é de caráter experimental, realizada de forma autônoma no garage band  - e a performance é um registro utilizando a ferramenta do zoom (sala de reuniões). explorando as possibilidades caseiras e de baixo custo, possíveis para mim no atual cenário,

Tubby's innovative studio work, which saw him elevate the role of the mixing engineer to a creative fame previously only reserved for composers and musicians, would prove to be influential across many genres of popular music. He is often cited as the inventor of the concept of the remix that later became ubiquitous in dance and electronic music production. Singer Mikey Dread stated, "King Tubby truly understood sound in a scientific sense. He knew how the circuits worked and what the electrons did. That's why he could do what he did"

King Tubby was shot and killed on 6 February 1989, outside his home in Duhaney Park, Kingston, upon returning from a session at his Waterhouse studio.
