BIO: 
Jockkie (real name: Jock) is an upcoming producer, dj & digital artist from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Jockkie is always optimistic, down to earth and out of the box thinking. He can be wild and stormy, but also peaceful and calm in the eye of the storm, like his personality, productions and style.

Born in 1986, Jockkie has grown up with Suriname root music, Jazz, RnB and electronic music. He has closely being involved in the growing music culture by working at some clubs in Rotterdam and did some b2b’s gigs in his youth.

Jockkie found his love for music back and started a weekly mixtape, called Chimére radioshow, on his SoundCloud & Inprogressradio. The Radioshow is based on new releases by newcomers and legends in the melodic techno scene. But also a monthly takeover by new dj/producers in the scene.

 He also attended on an international dj contest and ended up in the top 25.

Jockkie is working on his projects, to combine melodic sound with digital art and holistic & stoic mindset.

ILove music. When I'm inspired it's amazing, I can free myself and disconnect from all the bad things of these times. I'm self-instruted and dont have musical training, I dont consider myself a musician or an artist but a real music amateur. I love  instruments, dont matter what type they are, if made of wood, I love their smell, call me crazy, drums, plugins, classical, everything that we can use to play. 
Dont waste time on war just play a beat.
I play with Line 6 Spider Jam amp, FLStudio DAW, Fostex analog multitrack, arturia plugins, Kontack plugins, Yahama MM6 synth.
