I made this mix for the summer solstice! I thought this was a good time for reflection and creativity so I put together of some of the dub techno music I have made over the past 9 years since I moved from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, CA. I can't believe it's been that long already!

Trees Mix 2016 new Peek Productions!

A short mix of 120-125bpm music I've been creating in the past few years. As always, the music bends through influences in multiple genres. These are all original productions by me, but I'd like to note a vocal snipet from MC Zulu's 'Divine Inspiration' was used in one of the songs. This mix was to celebrate the Dreamtime and for Rainbow Serpent Festival 2018. Enjoy!

I had been working on making a song around a field recording I did when visiting Berlin last year. My friend and I were walking in her neighborhood and we had stopped to look at some cool free stuff on the sidewalk, I heard these beautiful bells from the Church ringing in the background. I grabbed my phone and recorded some of it. Now getting it into a song was hard, the recording was pretty lo-fi and bells aren't super easy, but I managed to put it together with some recordings of my wind chimes I have at home, plus lots of samples and oddities from my live set that I had been working on. Its kind of repetitive I know, the bells only have a few repeating notes, but I had this bass sound that I had made that just that part of it seemed to also sound like humming along so I went with that sort of marching along feel.  Then I had been listening to a TD Jakes sermon where he talked about our current events with the theme of Mercy and I was inspired to finish this song! I cried a lot while making it. Or maybe I'm just crying a lot lately? Anyways, hope you guys like it and hope you are doing ok. <3 Peek

Mercy

I've been making stuff on my Virus the past few months. This short song is made entirely of Virus TI sounds, mostly modified presets and a vocode session. I also made some sounds entirely from the -int- patch (basically from scratch) and packed them up into a sample pack. You can find that here:
