A new K-Pop beat just 2 weeks after the last one. The way how K-Pop beats are very unique just fascinates me, so I had to test the waters of another one. As a proud EXO-L, this beat was inspired by their 2019 hit "Obsession". The beat focuses more on a Rap-based song compared to my last beat, which shows how unique K-Pop beats are.

As for the song structure, it is a more unique one. It still follows the normal Intro -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Bridge -> Chorus, but now there is an Instrumental Hook (No vocals/dance break) after the 1st chorus and a Post-Chorus after the 2nd chorus. Not only that but after the bridge, it follows with the Pre-Chorus, Chorus, a new final Post-Chorus, then Outro. Very complex, but it would look something like this: Intro -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Instrumental Hook -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Post-Chorus -> Bridge -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> New Final Pre-Chorus -> Outro. A very complex song structure indeed, but that is what makes K-Pop beats.

Inspired by EXO's "Obsession", I used a vocal sample that was pitched higher, followed by creating some hard-hitting 808/bass lines and drum patterns. The Choruses and Bridge contain a piano melody that goes very well with the beat, creating a non-repetitive listen.

I am still learning the ways of K-Pop beats, and I still have much to learn, but I feel like I am starting strong, so I hope you'll enjoy!
