It was February 2021. Mortal time.
Antariksh Records had just released Radiant Energy EP by Madhav Jolly (Sentient). Over the next few mortal weeks, the interstellar airwaves were dominated by the Radiant Energy of rave and techno emerging from India, Earth. Sentient beings, spirits, and metaphysical ether - all immersed in the cosmic unity of rave. The sentient beings thus demanded seven worthy cosmic knights to unite After Midnight and recreate the sounds of rave, forged using mystical acid and jungle wizardry. Thus unleashing upon this gross materiality, the tunes of dance, the churning electro hum of the seven elements, the rave falling upon mortal ears from the heavens of electronic music. The Marbreaks Mix comes from Mumbai-based producer Marbman (aka Aalhad Joshi) who revisits the label after his acclaimed split EP on Antariksh Records with Glasgow-based music producer Kleur.

For the seventh volume of International Chromies, we're turning to something close to our hearts.

The 26th of January is known in our home country as Australia Day, a national holiday where non-indigenous people celebrate the founding of the country and the arrival of The First Fleet. For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those sympathetic to their cause this day is known as Invasion Day, and is held as a day of mourning commemorating the beginning of the colonisation of lands and cultures that had existed there for over 50,000 years.

It goes without saying we are ashamed of this "Holiday" and stand in solidarity with our Indigenous sisters & brothers.
All the money from this compilation will be split between The Healing Foundation & Reconciliation Australia.
Both organizations are partnering with communities around Australia to address the inequality and prejudice the First Nations people face, and the on-going trauma caused by abhorrent actions such as the forced removal of children from their families. They work with these communities to create a place of safety, providing an environment for Stolen Generation survivors and their families to speak for themselves, tell their own stories and be in charge of their own healing.

If you are in a position to donate directly or share any information about either organisation we thoroughly encourage that you do & we want to send a huge thank you to Mall Grab, Mathis Ruffing, Kuldaboli, Prequel Tapes & CYRK for donating their work for this fundraiser along with everyone who has been supporting International Chromies since we started.
