Daily Drops

During the lockdown of 2020 I found a dusty SATA drive from my 2006 Dell laptop and decided to spend a week grinding through the 160GB of poorly organised music, mostly acquired during the golden era of internet piracy. After perma deleting the entire Lykke Li back catalogue and a criminal amount of 128Kbps Trojan Dub compilations I pulled together 200 of the most mis-remembered anthems of the late 00's. 

Realising that a vast amount of these tracks had totally disappeared from the internet after the fall of the blogs, I added the lot to Google Drive and in the spirit of MegaUpload shared the folder with people in exchange for a donation to Mermaids gender charity. The stunt raised about £200 and all these hooners were back out in to the wild once again.

Theres been a constant threat of a 'Blog House Revival' for the past few years off the back of the very short lived Indie Sleaze 'Revival' and while the teary fog brain of a '92 Hardcore enthusiast in me says nothing could recapture those times, my flat peak knock-off Wayfarer heart says MKAT is already back the only thing were missing is a Diplo & Fred Again colab.

So, presented for the lovely people at Kallida Festival is an hour of traditional Ableton power mixing the best Indie Electro Bassline American Apparel Cat Face Vice Doc Rave Bangers seen this side of the last episode of Skins.
