27.8.2013: I replaced the contents with a new version of the song. It has a new beginning and ending along with other details here and there. It sounds a bit crispier than the original too.. Maybe I am actually learning to make music?

Darkness and Light

This is my first try at crafting sounds with Modular IV soft synth by Sonic Core. I've had it quite a while but now with extra free time I decided to educate myself with it... and to say the least it is quite an incredible sound machine. This test patch has around a dozen oscillators including saw, square, pulse and FM sine oscillators with some EQ and no FX.

This song is created for Bleeding Fingers' competition and is inspired by stems by Hans Zimmer. It tends to be light and positive though opening verses and it progresses to more climactic final after a breather with original trumpet stem included.

This song is a little rough around the edges since I had a little time to make this due to my long trip abroad and it hits brakes pretty hard in the end due to time limit but I still hope you like it.

This is the original Final Command chord progression and melody I had in my mind. This might be even better but the other version sounded a bit more fresh to me.

Last Good Men

I am learning to make new sounds with my Sonic Core Modular IV and this is my first field test trying how it sounds with other stuff added. All synths coming from Modular IV using my own patches I just created. That thing is a powerhouse.

This is a Sourz remix contest entry. This bass_amped mix uses the original lead vocals but other than that it is just mind flow.

This song utilizes heavily my favourite piece of hard/software, the Sonic Core's XITE-1 and is made with Cubase.

I am an IT specialist and free time composer. I've always loved music and I've done composing since I was around 18 playing with Cakewalk DOS version and Roland SCC-1 soundcard. Years ago I had to stop my dear hobby due to overload of work and other life but lately I've heard the calling of music once again. This time I am here to stay and maybe even some day earn my pay check with this. Spare me a dime, anyone?

Paycheck or not, my songs come out of love for music and creation, not for fame and fortune. My passion is to give you people worlds and emotions through music.
