halfway through the 90's the kicks got harder, the breakdown got longer and more epic and we all fell in love with synthesizer-strings.
trance was born and I could not get enough of it.

ah yes! the legendary outland records label.
unmistakenly linked to the amazing artwork from amsterdam artist DADARA.
I have spend sooooooo much time and money at their shop at the zeedijk in amsterdam, just listening to and buying records and hanging out trying to find out what the big boys where playing.
the outland sound could be described as mellow, funky, a bit weird but totally unique.
I still love it!

something weird happend to dance music at the end of the 90's.
hardcore had gone deep underground and was almost gone but music needed to be harder and faster and it sparked this hardhouse genre.
one of those things that disappeared as fast as it appeared.
I really think this is where the hardstyle we know now came from.

The result of travelling with only an old iPad to produce music on. Worked on this of and on for the last two months.

its that time of year again.
low temperatures, Christmas is coming and club season has started.
last year I skipped the wintervibes (literally.. ;) )
but here it is again, some nice melodic and progressive with a hint of italo and a classic hidden halfway.
