Squid's 'East' EP takes listeners on a hypnotic journey through the Sinai Desert, blending oriental music with progressive trance. Featuring the deep, aquatic "Blue Lagoon" with Narkissi, the ethereal solo track "East"; and the tribal-infused "Camels Jam" with Kadmon, this release merges ancient desert vibes with modern trance rhythms, capturing the mystery and energy of both the land and seascapes of Sinai.

This creation was born from the endless spaces of the desert and of the heart.
Throughout my life, the desert always has guided me,
It held me in difficult moments and bloomed with me in times of renewal and 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 
It reflected everything I was feeling along the way, and it was always the place I could return to, breathe, and feel at home.

Today I can say that the desert gave me the space to listen, and the ability to turn my feelings into sound.

For years now (and across two albums), 
the desert and my heart have been traveling together - 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗴 and contracting, side by side.
For me, the 10 pieces in this album are the map of that journey.

I hope these sounds open your heart too, just as the desert opened mine.

Hola tribe!
I've been sitting for a long time in my studio, working hard, creating track after track.
With all of the confusion that has coated our world over the past year, I made the decision not to share my new music, until everything was seemingly back to "normal", hesitant as I would not be able to see how my tracks landed on the dancefloor. 
It’s been almost 10 months since then, so no doubt I’m insanely excited to begin sharing with you everything that I have had brewing for us during this time.(I've been waiting to write this down for so long!!!)
Nearly a year ago, when the whole apocalypse broke out (covid-19), I joined the "Crocheart" project led by Shahaf (Freedom Fighters) - who guided me throughout this crazy time. I learned, and continue to learn, so much from him - mostly about music, but also about life.
When I first heard the track "Era" I got chills and goosebumps all over my body, because I felt the depth of emotion that was embedded within and delivered through it. I was excited and overwhelmed with the amount of inspiration that flooded in, but not for a moment could I have imagined that almost a year after I had heard the track for the first time... I would make a version of my own.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to the talented Nijen tsvi smith-ניג'ן צבי סמיט for the flute , that continue to expand my mind, time and time again.
and also Thanks to BPM College for the opportunity.
So here it is... I'm so excited to present to you my own desert version of such a significant milestone for me!
