I watched my mother pass away on July 6th, 2023 @ 9:33am. I went numb for the next 7 months till I was hospitalized on the 18th of February. I finally felt the pain and worked thru things the next day. This is an ode to my mother, Dena Lane

I’m an improvisational guitarist & vocalist who also is apart of a group with my spouse Foxi.
I’ve been walking the astral forest & striding its rivers since 2005. Every day is a mental struggle and battle that thru musical therapy (and the support of Foxi), I can get thru another moment.
I encourage everyone who goes thru their struggles, be it in love, family, drugs, financial, sexuality, spirituality, mental or physical health, to push through and feel all of it and just breathe. Numbing, hiding  or lying about it just lengthens the pain/struggle.
I don’t even know you, but whoever you are out there who is going thru this, please know that you are loved, even by a stranger such as myself.
