The culture of our Butterz club nights, now housed at Fabric have demanded fresh music every set since we started doing them back in 2011. This means new original material, new remixes and the occasional bootleg. This one has stayed in my sets since I made it for the Butterz 2nd Birthday back in March 2012. People have never stopped asking for it. As I progress onto the next chapter in my journey I couldn't move forward without sharing one of my favourite pieces. Hope you enjoy.

After the fantastic reception that greeted his breakthrough house track, ‘Beat Junkie’ released on Black Butter Records, producer and DJ Lokate is set to build on his growing reputation with the September 21st release of the single ‘Flow’ on FFRR.

Featuring influential MC Doctor (who released the underground classic ‘Before Surgery’ mix CD and featured on Soundbwoy’s ‘Never Wanna Say Bye Bye’) as well as Bay-C (from dancehall legends T.O.K.), ‘Flow’ is a tough slice of dancehall infused House music.

Last time we heard from Bristol producer Conducta was around the release of "City Breeze"—a floaty R&B-meets-garage jam from August last year. This time, on new single "Felt This Way", he's teamed up with fellow Bristolian Notion for another bass-heavy affair. "Felt This Way" still features some silky R&B vocals, but the star of the show is that molten lava bassline! It's no wonder both producers have been getting so much attention lately. With basslines like this and a learned appreciation for R&B vocals, these two will definitely be making some big moves this year. Watch this space.
