San Francisco Bay Area native two piece, 'pen' (comprised of married couple Aliza Penelope & Ian Hackett Kahl), release 'a churchyard that sways,' debut 2 track EP -- December 2013.
 'pen' reflects a genuine musical collaboration/partnership between its two core members. Ultimately 'pen' is a shared, flexible-evolving, creative project intending, through the messy process of composing music, to mirror Aliza Penelope and Ian Hackett Kahl's own developing relationship process. As their shared life partnership develops, so will their creative process and its corresponding results.
