Whoo! This was a pain to work on! I actually redid the tuning for the entire UST and then found out that it doesn't sync with the instrumental so I also reformatted the layouts and THEN had a problem again with a few of the lyrics that couldn't be pronounced, but what can I say? I managed to do it anyways! Also experimented with the range, it doesn't sound right at my normal ranges so I thought I'd try something new by sticking with the original UST's pitches. He sounds deeper than normal, but it actually sounds really good!

So recently, I've had a rut during the process of making this, which led me to use Halfnecross's Jinriki but the problem was that I didn't like how it sounded. This gave me the idea to combine my old voicebank with the sounds I could only find in the new one. It sounds a little off in some parts but holy moly did it improve so much.

Behold a new cover! I finally discovered the magic of reverb and also used a new voicebank for this duet and boy was it hard. If you didn't know, Pico's UTAU voicebank sounds like a man with lung cancer singing while gargling water. It was a challenge getting him to sound somewhat like his "normal" voice but I think I did a pretty good job with the mixing for him to sound good.
