Long time no see at Sisyphos 💜  Und dann gleich der Wintergarten - nach mehreren b2bs zum ersten Mal alleine auflegen in diesem zauberhaften Raum, der für mich vollgepackt ist mit schönen Erinnerungen. Nun gibt es eine mehr.. Danke an die sympathische Meute, die mich begleitet hat und das Sisy-Team fürs so zuhause fühlen lassen 💟

Zurück dahin wo alles begann... 2018 durfte ich bereits in dieser rauschenden Höhle auflegen und dieses Wochenende war es wieder so weit. Die Musik ist mittlerweile etwas schneller geworden aber die strahlenden Gesichter sind die selben geblieben. Was für ein Abriss, was für eine Energie! Danke an meine Friends, alle Tänzer:innen, Mensch Meier und die zauberhafter Fusion. Danke auch an die FLINTA*-Demo, die am Ende so den Laden aufgemischt hat - YOUR BODY YOUR COICE; RAISE OUR VOICE! What a beautiful challenge, once again. Camping out on the field among 70,000 people definitely pushes you to your limits. At the same time, there’s a special kind of magic to it.  Almost no pictures, I know it’s gonna live in my heart. A big thank you to @3000-grad/Sonnendeck for having me on that stunning stage, and to my wonderful gang for making it all so special 🌈

Wow, was für eine Reise.
Ich hatte immer riesigen Respekt vor dem größten elektronischen Festival Deutschlands – und hab mir gesagt: Da fahr ich nur hin, wenn ich dort mal spiele.
Und dieses Jahr hat mir das Universum gesagt: Jetzt ist es so weit.

Die ersten beiden Tage war ich komplett überfordert von all den Eindrücken und wusste nicht so recht, wie ich das alles finden soll. Alles war irgendwie echt viel, bunt und laut – und gleichzeitig so faszinierend.
Aber ab Freitag war ich angekommen. Und konnte dieses unglaubliche Festival einfach nur noch voller Staunen erleben und genießen.

Freitagabend war es dann so weit: mein Gig auf der Seebühne.
Ich hatte noch nie einen Auftritt, der sich so surreal angefühlt hat – so intensiv, so fordernd, so besonders. Der Moment hat mir viel abverlangt, aber auch unglaublich viel geschenkt.
Diese ganze Reise war für mich etwas ganz besonderes – weil ich sie mit so vielen wunderbaren Menschen teilen konnte. Und ich musste das erstmal ein paar Tage sacken lassen.

Ich war mir lange unsicher, ob ich das Set überhaupt teilen will. Es hat gedauert, bis ich in den Flow kam – und das hat mich zwischendurch ganz schön verunsichert.
Aber dann kamen ein paar richtig schöne Nachrichten, und ich hab gemerkt:
Ich möchte diesen Moment mit euch teilen. Mit all seinen Höhen und Tiefen.
Denn genau das macht ihn für mich so besonders.

Danke, Fusion – du großartiges, wildes, liebevolles Festival.
Ich versteh jetzt, warum alle so geflasht von dir sind. 🌀

Playing music on the Siebdruckfloor at Moyn festival was
One of my favorite gigs so far… 

I opened into the cologne-night (Mexican infused, thank you for the mezcal)
And playing before @suricata & Jonathan was just an honor.

I am always fascinated how my intentions unfold.
For me the energy on siebdruckfloor is pure love! And also the cosmic energies with Venus so present supported to open up our hearts in connection with others.

High frequency of love. Especially in the second half of my set I choosed tracks 
Which vibed in the frequency of love, with their beats and vocals.
I wanted everybody to get soft and build a carpet of love flowing over the dance floor,
Starting with this feeling into the weekend. And that is also what I needed myself.

In words someone said to me afterwards: „your music felt like a warm hug“.
When I listen to the set I just gives me back this feeling of oneness and connection.
Hope you enjoy it!

Thank you for everybody who made that moment so so special.
Thank you for your presence and flying with me.

Playing from day to nighttime and on eye-level was so beautiful, also a bit exciting at the beginning, 
because everybody could watch what I do. Hehe.

Peng Peng – That's how it sounds when a dance floor is hit by a double strike of sudden pressure. When this happens, the lower sound spectrum boosts from the speakers like a seismic force of nature, creating a vibe that is dark and dirty. Whereas the higher sound spectrum is like a weightless counterpart, full of subtle melodies and trippy rhythm fragments. Peng Peng – Music that hits your head, that hits your feet, and that goes straight to your heart.

There's a good reason why the groove of Peng Peng is so dynamic and ever-evolving. It's the result of an ongoing duel between two creative minds, shooting ideas and inspiration at one another. Both of them are already well known in the world of electronic dance music. There's Dolph, a long-year Hip Hop and Slow Electronica producer who eventually started a successful career on the 4-to-the-floor circuit. And there's Meerkats, an expert on dance floor dynamics thanks to his extensive experience as a DJ and party-goer. Nowadays based in Berlin the two of them share a deep passion for black humour, for minor chords, and for badass car subwoofers. The perfect basis for friendship – and for a music project that stands out. One moment it's a casual House groove, the next moment it turns into delirious ecstasy. Then again there's serious hypnotism going on somewhere between minimalist rhythms and monumental bass lines, and a few minutes later the listener is surrounded by explosive Funk. The most consequent elements in the sound of Peng Peng are inventiveness and ongoing modulation – and that's why it is just made for extensive liveacts.

Go with the flow... and listen to your gut feeling while doing so! Dolph pays heed to this wisdom, both in life and in music.
His productions reveal an original sound that’s unique to him - one that stems from many influences, and yet doesn’t follow any of its rules - only his gut. His production career has roots in Hip Hop and Electronica - but his passion for melancholia of all kinds has driven him to produce music that reflects his musical evolution over time. With a knack for twisting rhythms and sound structures around one another, he shows a noticeable disregard towards style conventions - choosing to craft his own personal taste in beats that are gradually becoming more linear. An irresistible catchiness pulsates amongst rich bass lines and distinct melodies, intertwining energetic grooves with percussions in soundscapes that are electronic yet experimental, subtle and slow. No matter the tempo he’s moving in, it’s easy to recognize his music, which usually oscillates between a playful happy vibe and dreamy melancholia.
His productions have been released on labels such as Akumandra, Amselcom and the label that supported him from the very beginning -  Acker Records.
