Une lecture foucaldienne du confinement par Dimitri M’Bama

Depuis le début de la pandémie de Covid-19, les références à Michel Foucault se sont répandues presque aussi rapidement que le virus lui-même. Pour le meilleur et souvent par les pires, le philosophe et sa biopolitique ont été convoqués à tout-va pour comprendre ce qu’il était en train de nous arriver. Les mauvaises lectures de Foucault consistent le plus souvent à régurgiter maladroitement quelques cadres analytiques alors que toute la puissance de son travail aura au contraire consisté à dynamiter les cadres. C’est donc en tirant le meilleur du philosophe que Dimitri M’Bama formule la question qui selon lui nous fait face : il ne s’agit pas de se demander « ce que nous pourrions faire d’autre » mais « comment pouvons-nous continuer comme ça ? ».

Gouvernance, pandémie et auto-contrôle

Chiunque faccia qualcosa in onore del yahrtzeit di R' Moshe ben David  come per esempio Un pasto in suo onore – bastano anche una torta e un lechayim, un brindisi, facendo la berachà prima e dopo – o accendere una candela. Si usa pure dire un insegnamento che ha lasciato la persona che uno ricorda.  Ecco un piccolo dvar Tora da dire a tavola per accompagnare la ricorrenza:
A volte una persona ottiene la parnassà, e poi la perde. Che consiglio possiamo dare affinché una persona che guadagna parnassà non la perda? Rebbe Moshe di Lelov disse che la risposta si può trovare nella ghemarà (Taanìt 25a) che afferma: דגמירי דמיהב יהבי מישקל לא שקלי, “[Il Cielo] dà, e non riprende”. Rebbe Moshe spiegò queste parole nel modo seguente: גמירי, quando qualcuno studia גמרא – ghemarà, allora דמיהב יהבי מישקל לא שקלי, il Cielo gli garantisce parnassà e non gli sarà tolta." Si raccontano alcune storie miracolose su questo grande maestro. Ecco una storia:  "Rabbi Moshe visse la maggior parte della sua vita a Lelov (Polonia), ma sentiva che, se avesse pregato al Kotel HaMa’aravì – il muro del Pianto, avrebbe portato Mashiach. Alla fine della sua vita, quindi, partì per Yerushalayim. Il suo viaggio verso Eretz Yisrael fu movimentato. Si aprì una falla nella nave, e l’acqua iniziò a penetrare. Le persone a bordo furono prese dal panico. Rabbi Moshe mise un panno sulla falla, e questo miracolosamente bloccò il flusso dell’acqua. (Questo telo esiste ancora, ed è usato come deck tichel – velo, per le spose dei discendenti di Rabbi Moshe).  Un’altra avventura avvenne quando la nave attraccò in un’isola deserta. Tutti scesero dalla nave, compreso il Rebbe con il suo gabbai. Dopo un po’ di tempo, i marinai suonarono le corna per richiamare tutti a bordo. Arrivarono tutti, ma il gabbai del Rebbe rimase indietro, e la nave ripartì senza il gabbai del Rebbe!  Quel venerdì sera, prima di fare Kiddùsh, Rabbi Moshe annunciò: “Non farò Kiddùsh prima che arrivi il gabbai”. Si sentì immediatamente un forte botto, e il gabbai arrivò. Il gabbai raccontò: “Sono stato catturato dall’altra parte (shedìm – demoni). Li ho sentiti dire: ‘L’anziano tzaddìk sta dicendo che non farà Kiddùsh finché non arriverà il suo gabbai, ma non può farci niente. Il gabbai è con noi’. Poi è arrivato il leader dei shedìm e ha detto: ‘Non è uno scherzo. Se l’anziano tzaddìk dice che non farà il Kiddùsh fino all’arrivo del gabbai, dobbiamo obbedire alla sua richiesta’, e mi hanno rimandato indietro”.  Questa storia incredibile ha un seguito.
Il nipote di Rabbi Moshe di Lelov, Rebbe Moshe Mordechai di Lelov zy’a, visse in Germania prima della seconda guerra mondiale. Era pericoloso per un ebreo essere visto in giro in quel periodo di tensione, ma nonostante questo, un venerdì pomeriggio uscì per andare al mikve. Sapeva che fosse pericoloso, ma il suo trisnonno, Rebbe Dovid di Lelov zt’l, aveva insegnato che un ebreo dovrebbe avere mesirùt nefesh – spirito di sacrificio, per recarsi al mikve.
Passò vicino ad un gruppo di tedeschi, che iniziarono a colpirlo. Fortunatamente, proprio in quel momento, il chassìd Reb Avraham Frankel z’l passò di lì. Reb Avraham Frankel era molto forte, e salvò da solo Rebbe Moshe Mordechai.  In seguito arrivò la polizia, e arrestò Reb Avraham Frankel per aver colpito i tedeschi!
Più tardi quella stessa sera, prima di Kiddùsh, Reb Moshe Mordechai ripeté la storia che era avvenuta a suo nonno, Rabbi Moshe di Lelov. Disse: “Rabbi Moshe di Lelov disse che non avrebbe fatto Kiddùsh fino al ritorno del suo gabbai, e immediatamente il gabbai ritornò”.
Dopo aver detto queste parole, entrò Reb Avraham Frankel. (Raccontando la storia che era successa a suo nonno, aveva evocato nuovamente il miracolo, per salvare Reb Avraham Frankel).
