#FreakSoul was already planned for release when news broke of the recent US Supreme Court opinion regarding marriage equality, making the message of acceptance even more poignant.

“This is a song for those who feel different, like they don’t fit in, and at one time or another, that’s all of us,” Rebecca says. “Your own ‘Freak Soul’ proudly shouts, ‘I am not like everyone else, but I’m proud and strong.’ Whether it’s your red hair and freckles, the awkward way you dance, your accent, lifestyle, or whatever, I just felt so strongly about sharing a message of the joy of individuality.”

The timely song urges the listener to #lovebigandsingloud It is a celebration of all that is unique in each of us.

Inspired by the recent Supreme Court opinion on marriage equality, artist Amy White is offering a celebratory free download (for a limited time) of her poignant song, “Love Across the Boundaries.”

“I was inspired to write this song during the Amendment One battle here in North Carolina,” White says regarding marriage equality in the state she has called home for several years. “Some of our neighbors gave up on North Carolina and moved out of state after that amendment was passed. It broke my heart. For most of my life, I have composed perfectly bipartisan instrumental music. But I reached a turning point when I couldn’t shut out the lyrics that kept coming to me, and I couldn’t remain silent on issues that I cared about so deeply.”
