In every waking moment, we are challenged to cherish or overlook the blessings within and around us.  Each of the songs in this collection hinges on whether "hidden gold" is discovered, ignored, embraced, or buried.  May you find some that shines for you.

Drake Oranwood (aka Eric Schrager) is a songwriter, singer, and medieval/renaissance enthusiast who brings some modern sensibilities to original songs set long ago and far away, with lush arrangements that transport the listener.

In the Society for Creative Anachronism, Drake is part of the bardic community, where original and period performances are shared at fire circles and waysides for weary travelers.  This collection owes a debt to many generous and creative souls who offered their talents, their voices, their ears, and their wisdom to help bring it to life.
