Penny Fortune is a Hiphop/R&B/New-Age/Rock Duo out of Calgary, Alberta. Incorporating a variety of instrumentation and inspiration, Penny’s funky rhythms, soulful vocals & catchy-fresh flows continue to draw crowds of increasing numbers at any party they rock. With a unique sound and an energetic live show, they have been stealing competitions, topping album reviews and winning over crowds since 2009, as well as sharing the stage with some of the biggest Indie artists in Canada. Penny has performed with artists such as Bedouin Soundclash, Daniel Wesley, Kim Churchill, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Hey Ocean, Wasabi Collective and many others. Penny Fortune released their first self-titled album early in 2012. Within days, the single This Kind of Lover was selected to be included on tunecore.com’s Valentines Day Compilation 2012. Penny is set to release their second album Make Your Move early in 2013.
