"I took liberties with a Native American prayer - "Oh Great Spirit" and composed this version.  Recorded in Hawaii  land of rainbows, at Rendezvous studio.  1982.

The Sound That Clouds Make

Country techno. "There is an old story that a fish cannot see the water in which it swims"    I wrote this about "the big one that got away".  I always imagined that the "ay Yaa Yah" chorus tag was sung in a pub whilst I danced on the tables. From the album "Topsy Turvy World" Ben Hurley on guitars, Nik Green and me on keyboards.  We got Jon Zuber, Nik's sister, a few others to sing the choruses.  

Another Fish Story

Written on 9/11,   Music and lyrics by Penny Little. There was an uncanny silence that day.  Other than a couple of jet fighters flying up the coast, the sounds of air traffic, cars were noticeably absent.  What one could hear was the birds.   From the album "Topsy Turvy World" by The Away Team
