This is the first album by the talented producer Manuel Costela aka "Oval Future Face" and half part of "Defense Of Excess", owner of the spanish labels "Bucketround Records" and "2phonic Recordings". Born in Madrid and having worked with many different labels like "DeepArt Sounds", "TH Pressing", "Deep Explorer Music" and "Flumo Recordings". Releasing both on vinyl and digitally. Manuel chose the amazing and deeper "Deepwit Recordings" label for his LP. 
There are 10 very personal tracks that define his particular way of experiencing Deep house music, where he plays with his bass, synthesizers, percussion and his own voice.vShowing his extensive taste for breakbeat, house and funk, fusing various styles. Yet always with his particular melodic touch.

Having temporarily expanded into a transatlantic ensemble, Hess Is More is back where it started, as Danish artist Mikkel Hess’ (more or less) solo venture through the borderlands of pop music.
 
Gone are the expansive, sprawling works. The sound of CÆKE is minimalist, spacious and candid. The works orbit a more personal, everyday creativity, assembled by piano, drum machines, vintage synths and Hess’ pensive, unhurried voice.
 
In honest Hess-ian fashion, the maturity of the sound is offset by a recurring penchant for the childish, the curious… a subversive lightheartedness, which is easily traced back to Hess’ early works.
