20XX年、日本は戦乱の世に陥り、
再び「忍」の力を時代が求めていた。

忍になれぬ者に生きる資格はなく、

やがて2つの勢力を生み出した。

1つは服部一族。
類まれなる忍術をもって世を1つにまとめんとする義の一族。

1つは風魔一族。
覇王足らんとする風魔没刀斎を筆頭に、
禁呪の力により魔界の扉を開かんとする魔の一族。

服部の若き忍、ケンゾウは、
風魔の野望から日本を救うため、
隠密に敵の居城であるネオ江戸城へと乗り込む。
