I have permanently and legally changed my name to Chilly Gonzales.To celebrate me becoming me, I offer to you the first-ever piano mixtape “Pianist Envy,” my declaration of defiance to the rappers and beatmakers who, unbeknownst to them, leave space for my musical imagination. You know those rap beats and electro songs - the ones with almost nothing in them? Tipsy, A Millie, Grindin’ Rollin’ and Scratchin’, Single Ladies? Well, I go all Liberace on these beats with my piano and my orchestra.

Pianist Envy, it’s made up of piano remixes of several contemporary favorites, including tracks by Beyonce and Daft Punk!

Pentatones are pop music in a truly new disguise. Over an electronically tinkered mosaic hovers the voice of Delhia de France, radiant yet mysterious. Her vocals (known from productions with Robag Wruhme, Robot Koch,Steve Bug ao) are enveloped by pulsating beats, bouncing back and forth between here and an imagined acoustic horizon. In collaboration with visual artists Pentatones released impressive and award-winning videos and create impressive audiovisual live performances playing at various media art-festivals, such as Ars Electronica as well as clubs, intimate venues and concert halls together with the MDR Symphonia Orchestra.

The glacial romanticism of their last years debut album "The Devil's Hand"(2012/Lebensfreude rec.) is still intensely vibrant. Hence, the electronic quartet Pentatones is now presenting "Bonfire"(release 06/28/13), the final single release of their debut feature.
