A friend told me about the "Hans Zimmer Wants you" contest. Very Exciting stuff.

Then i noticed, my country is not listed  in the countries admited in the rules...so my dream suddenly collapses.

anyway i have a good time creating this theme, having as a reference the Hans zimmer one. I only use the Vocal Stem.

My goals : have a great dynamic range. from very subtle passages to very powerful ones. Have variety of timbres and textures and respect the Hans zimmer melodic idea.

Just learning this days how to use and create sounds with synthetizers. I remember when i was child i heard isao tomita debussy electronic interpretation. i was twisting knobs and this kind of sound bring me memories.

I used to compose music inside of the computer, in a daw. Since i get some hardware synthesizers i want to see less to the monitor and try to just have fun playing realtime. The different layers are achieved recording with a loop station rc-3 pedal. You play and push the pedal when the loop is done. the pedal keep repeating this part and you can record another one on top and so. 
All the sounds used are custom. Very simple ones, as im still learning how the synths work, but i enjoy the time creating them and playing with them.  There are 5 sounds used. 

Of course this is an small rendition of the fantastic Tubullar bells 2 by Mike Oldfield.

¿Did you remember the "mad world" trailer from gears of war?  have an incredible music, with a warm vocal track with a magic melody line. Well i pick up this melody and try to implement it into a "lord of the rings" scenario. I made an orcestration ala howard shore :D. and i like very much the result. hope you enjoy the music.
