"Take Me Backwards" People by the Sea

People by the Sea is the Los Angeles based Indie Folk/Rock creation of Jacob Irwin, Leah Grounds, and Dan Irwin, who began playing music together in 2008.  Their songwriting depends heavily on organic energy of the human voice, and simplicity of instrumentality.  Jacob, Leah, and Dan claim an incredibly wide list of influencers on their craft, from great folk artists, to classical composers, to movie score writers; thus producing a raw but thematic sonic trademark.  People by the Sea wants more than anything to create music that helps make better sense of human experience, and so, they continue to write music that responds to the chapters of their own story.
