After an almost annual break, Pep Gaffe came back with the new tape by our all-time associates - Tofudj and Acid Jordan who deserves no introduction for the majority of ours listeners. These beautiful amorphous tracks were recorded last summer in the house by the river somewhere near Poltava.

The times are grim in Ukraine now. The full-scale war got everyone in the early morning of the 24th of February, and ever since there are no other thoughts but to defend oneself, one's relatives, and the country. There is no sleep anymore, no time wasted, 24/7. In fact, the time has effectively just stopped. 

People are united as never before. Courage has no borders. The volunteering movement is insane. Any direction and all directions at the same time. The help from inside and outside is much appreciated. “Do everything you can!” is the only way out. 

We don’t want to address any of the enemy’s actions and rhetoric throughout the years (in fact, hundreds of years). Now, one can move in retrospect and see for oneself. It is straightforward and mad, infectious and deadly. 

Pep Gaffe peeps are in different parts of the country carrying out the weight as everyone right now. Among them is Rugo, Vyshhorod-native, who joined the forces of territorial defence and is all physical on the battleground. His music was scheduled to get released on the 25th of February and is out now. Give it a listen, support him, support us, support Ukraine! 

It is extremely serious. The worst of humankind is willing for a revanche, and it’s coming full-throttle. Don’t let it happen! We, together, won’t let it happen!

Pep Gaffe is a rhizomatic collective that features individuals from different cities of Ukraine who do label and label nights. Moving timely on its own pace, PG sails elsewhere and walk much. But the nights are good, and the musics are adventurous.

At the beginning of 2022, we hosted our last pre-war party at the beloved by all Kyiv residents club Otel'.

That was a beautiful, careless episode right before a full-scale russian invasion (fuck you, russians, by the way). Many beautiful sets were played that night, but we were mainly waiting for permission from @ann-kim-9 to publish this bewitching selection.

You were constantly addicted to the feeling of adrenaline. This accident was decisive, but you did not understand anything. Aged primitive melodies play in your head.
